DAY

Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Welcomed by your guide at the airport and pick-up for a short city sightseeing. Visit of Notre Dame Cathedral (outside), Central Post Office, The People’s Committee (city hall) and the Opera House. Free at leisure in the afternoon, then attend a traditional Water Puppet Show.

Cu Chi tunnels

Drive to Cu Chi, a suburban town one-and-a-half hour away from Ho Chi Minh City, to explore the huge underground network made by Vietnamese resistance during the war. In the afternoon go back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace and Ben Thanh Market.

Mekong Delta 

Drive to My Tho to visit the Vinh Trang pagoda before embarking for a cruise on the Mekong River. Make a stop to visit Thoi Son Islet to discover the fabrication of coconut candy. Return to the cruise on small rowing boat sailing through the narrow waterways.

Mekong Delta & floating market 

Take a boat trip in the morning to visit the Cai Rang floating market and discover the city on the bank of the Mekong River. Visit the Binh Thuy Antique house where the movie The Lover has been shot. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Nha Trang Bay

Flight to Nha Trang in the morning. Walk around the beach until the visit of the Cham temple Thap Ba Panagar in the afternoon and finish the day with a mud bath at Thap Ba Hot Spring Center. 

Cruise in Nha Trang Bay 

Embark a boat for a day cruise in the beautiful Nha Trang Bay with a lunch on Con Se Tre Island. You will visit the Tri Nguyen Aquarium and you will also have the opportunity to experience swimming and snorkeling in Mun Island. 

Da Nang

Flight to Da Nang in the morning. Upon arrival, visit the Archeological Cham Museum before the transfer to Hoi An.

Cooking class in Hoi An

In the morning, transfer to Phu Thinh Resort for a Vietnamese cooking class with a chef. In the afternoon, discover the typical ancient town of Hoi An with the Japanese Bridge, Tian Hou  Pagoda, Tan Ky old house, Hoi An handicraft workshops and the Museum of History-Culture.

The Royal Citadel in Hue

Transfer to Hue in the morning to visit the Royal Citadel, the mausoleum of Minh Mang and the Dong Ba Market.

Cruise on the Perfume River in Hue 

In the morning embark for a cruise on the Perfume River until you reach the Thien Mu pagoda. Visit the mausoleum of Khai Dinh.  In the afternoon, transfer to Da Nang airport to catch a flight to Hanoi.

Ha Long Bay (1^st day of cruise) 

In the morning, have a pleasant overland journey thought beautiful landscapes from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. Upon arrival, embark a junk for a memorable cruise. During the afternoon, you will make a stop to visit a natural cave. Overnight on the junk.

Ha Long Bay (2^nd day of cruise) 

The morning starts by an early Tai Chi exercise on the upper deck of the junk, followed by a light breakfast. The cruise continues, while a brunch is served. After brunch, disembarkation then return transfer to Hanoi.

Hanoi

The morning starts with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum* where President Ho Chi Minh’s body lies in a solemn rest. The sightseeing continues with a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Other attractions include the One Pillar Pagoda and additional visit to the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. Afternoon free at leisure.

Departure from Hanoi

Free at leisure until the departure flight.
