Tra Que Farming & Cooking class (Half Day)

Joining this tour, you will experience living and working with the local people in the Tra Que vegetable village. Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, named after the sweet and scented vegetables that spice the everyday meals of the Pho Hoi people. Discover traditional dishes like the salty pancake from Central Vietnam called ‘Banh Xeo’ and the local ‘Tam Huu’ spring rolls which were primarily made from Tra Que’s vegetables

Pick up at your hotel. Begin your day trip with a visit to Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum* containing the former President’s embalmed body, and the One Pillar Pagoda – Mot Cot – built by a king in 1049.  According to legend, the pagoda’s shape was inspired by the lotus flower. The tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam. It is Vietnam’s first university and was constructed in 1070. You will enjoy its well-preserved architecture and its gardens offering a relaxing walk. Next, continue to the wonderful Hoan Kiem Lake and walk across the famous red wooden bridge to visit the Ngoc Son temple set on a tiny island. After the end of the visit, transfer back to your hotel.

*Please note that the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed in the afternoons, on Mondays and Fridays, and closes annually in September – December for restoration.
