Pick up at your hotel. Begin your day trip with a visit to Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum* containing the former President’s embalmed body, and the One Pillar Pagoda – Mot Cot – built by a king in 1049. According to legend, the pagoda’s shape was inspired by the lotus flower. The tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam. It is Vietnam’s first university and was constructed in 1070. You will enjoy its well-preserved architecture and its gardens offering a relaxing walk. Next, continue to the wonderful Hoan Kiem Lake and walk across the famous red wooden bridge to visit the Ngoc Son temple set on a tiny island. After the end of the visit, transfer back to your hotel.
*Please note that the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed in the afternoons, on Mondays and Fridays, and closes annually in September – December for restoration.
