Hue Imperial Citadel


There is no place like Hue, the ancient Capital City where beautiful vestiges still remain along the banks of the Perfume River. This important center of Buddhism has pagodas constructed more than 300 years ago, and a hundred of temples built in the early century. Besides, Hue is a place where the royal music was originated, and a place with traditional famous dishes and sophisticated handicraft. Hue has been recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Programme

 Duration: Full Day

Pick-up at your hotel and transfer to Hue via the Clouds Ridge Mountain (if weather permits, otherwise via tunnel). At your arrival, take a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, the oldest of Hue. Lunch at local restaurant. Next, visit the Royal Citadel where the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam reigned within 140 years, and Khai Dinh King's mausoleum. Transfer back to your hotel.

Optional dinner:  Enjoy a royal dinner with the Royal Court at Duyet Thi Duong theatre, a theatre from Nguyen Dynasty.
