My Son & Hoi An

Known as the “Valley of Kings,” the ruins are considered to be Champa’s counterpart to the grand sites of Southeast Asia’s Indian-influenced civilizations: Angkor (Cambodia), Bagan (Myanamar), Ayutthaya (Thailand), and Borobodur (Java), with a large complex of Hindu temples and towers that were constructed between the 4th and 14th centuries by the kings of the Champa Kingdom. My Son was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
